Hi elvingsson,

1. You didn't write how you want the title-tag to look like.

2. For the time being it isn't possible to exclude single fields only the "extra fields" as a group. It's planned to make it configurable on a single field basis. A possibility to add new fields is not planned yet.
However you may change the names of fields you do not need in the language files to use them for something else. Of course as long as the field format is suitable.

Forgot to mention that some single fields may be excluded in the configuration settings.

If u look in the picture i have added it the quot.
I want to get rid off teas signs in the title .:: ** ::. is this possible?

The config settings is great i have already used them, the only problem whit them is that they dosen`t hide the info in front end registration.

It was a nice tip to change the language file tho.

I didn't ask what you want to get rid of but how it should look like. I have had a look on this before but did not find a "best" solution.
I had a look on your site and there I only find:
<title> .:: Förrätter ** Avokado med räkmums ::.</title>
in the title and in the html source code.
The sitename is missing.

Here on Gary's Cookbok it looks like this:
<title>Gary´s Cookbook .:: Drinks und Bowlen ** Cocktails ** Acapulco Gold ::.</title>
This means:
sitename
divider .:: (start recipe path)
category
divider **
subcategory
divider **
recipe
divider .:: (end of recipe path)

Without diveders it would be:
Gary´s Cookbook Drinks und Bowlen Cocktails Acapulco Gold

Not very easy to understand. The category and recipe names can also be a lot longer. (A third category level will be supported shortly. It might already work but is not tested )

I suppose the title in the source code has a meaning for search engines (Google & Co)

So it would be useful with some more input on this.

It has to be changed in the programs. Maybe it could be controlled by some kind of parameters.

Noticed that you have kept the link to this site in the footer! Info to all users: This is copyright protected but if you want to, with a donation you can be allowed and instructed how to remove this.

I'll add your site to our links. I guess you agree.

http://static.googleusercontent.com/external_content/untrusted_dlcp/www.google.co.uk/sv/uk/intl/en_uk/webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide-en-gb.pdf

Teas Google guide explains title and what purpose they have.

The reason why my site name is missing is that i deleted it in the language file, to test where u got the info from :)

If u can use (,) as Divider that will help a lot i think. First we will save up to 6 signs that can be used for impotent information in the title.

I think its primary that the title are easy to understand bye google bots. Secondary that its easy four the user.

And btw, my English aint the bast :side:
