I have posted this message in the "New Idea Area", and ask myself "How stupid..." :blush: So now I post in the correct area, I hope

I have install the new beta of Garys Cookbook, and have tried the import function of Meal Master reciepes, but when I try to import, I get an "Connection Lost" error in my browser. What could be wrong?

I have exactly 2377 reciepes in my MM, and have exported them all out to an MMMM.txt file, where I then after try to import from, into Garys Cookbook, but without success.

Shall the file with the reciepes have some specific syntax?

Hope there is someone who can help me.

I would try to export and import just a few recipes maybe only one for a start.

"Connection Lost" maybe the same as a time out.

Hi over - so i'm back

I have now tried to export only 1 reciepe from my Meal Master and then tried to import it in Garys Cookbook by the Meal Master Import function there.

I get still an connection lost error. I use Firefox.

I have attached the file I try to import. Please tell me if it is ok in the format.

Shall the file be placed in some specific folders when importing? Shall it have an specific name? Ex: reciepe.mmf

thanks for the file.
The issue is in work. Obviously there are some bugs in the Meal Master import.

But be sure what you are doing. Imporitng 2.500 recipes in one batch is not the best idea. You still have to edit every single recipe at least to assign a recipe category. The import reduces the tipping of the texts but there are large differences between the Meal Master format and the format of Gary's Cookbook.

Now I have noted, that imports must be done with one recipe at a time, for the corrections to be made for each import.

I have now tried all three export methods in Meal Master and with only one recipe at a time. None of the files can be imported. When I press the button "Upload and Import", the screen becomes blank and no more happens.

If you want the three files for closer inspection, so just let me know. Then I pack them and attach them in a message to you.
