I am trying to run Gary's Cookbook on Joomla 1.5 in Legacy Mode. When I try to access any area of the cookbook component, the script gives this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare deldir() (previously declared in /mysiteaddress/plugins/system/legacy/functions.php:714) in /mysiteaddress/administrator/components/com_garyscookbook/admin.garyscookbook.php on line 772

Any way to fix this?

Find in the Code all Places with deldir and rename deldir to gkbdeldir. Iam Working an the Version for Joomla 1.5 without Legacy Mode.

Now that I have gotten past the deldir problem I am having a new issue. class.ezpdf.php was not installed in my Joomla install, and even though I have copied that and class.pdf.php to my server in the include folder, the PDFs are not generating. It says the files are corrupted.

I also can't figure out how to upload images with the recipes. I entered a recipe on the backend and now there doesn't appear to be a way to attach an image to it.

I also can't edit the settings. It says the config file is not writable but I can't find the config file to change the settings. What is the name of the config file and which directory is it located in (or is it trying to write to the main joomla config file)?

the config File is in the backenddirectory of Garyscookbook. the Name is config.garyscookbook.php the PDF Creation is not the same as Joomla 1.0.x this works not easy under Joomla 1.5 in lagacy mode

Rather than disabling the PDF, is there any way to tell the cookbook to use the same PDF maker that the articles component is using? I couldn't figure out how to do that, but that one is working fine. You can see it in action here:
