We've made it possible to users to write personal messages (PM's) to other user of Gary's Cookbook. It's mainly an extension to the Forum. Personal informaions don't have to be published to everyone in the Forum. The mailaddresses are of course, as before, not anywhere published.

We trust our users. But we'lll keep a closer eye on usernames and "real names". These have to be understandable otherwise they will be deactivated or deleted. Names as Gerald1962 are understandable for us, "weasf" not and will be deactivated. This is neccessary to make a communication between users in the Cookbook community possible. If you are a registered user and have a used not understandable  names please change in "Your details". By the way, you may want to change the language as well to english, german or swedish. We hope on your understanding.

User that have bin unactive for a year will automaticly be deleted. 

To come to the PM's (personal messages):
In the forum click on "My Profile". A little to the left and down you'll find the "Private Messages". Choose "new message" to write your new message.

In the usermenu you'il also find the "Private Messages". We'll add someinformations in the Help/Faq how to handel the messages.

If you get some spammessages or something like it please send a massage/mail to the webmaster of this site to block the user in question.

Wir vertrauen hier auf unsere Anwender. Wir werden aber auch mehr auf Anwendernamen und Richtige Namen achten. Diese müssen sinnvoll erscheinen sonst werden sie gesperrt . Einige sind schon gelöscht oder gesperrt. Wenn du sinnlose Namen verwendet hast bitte bei deinen Anwenderdaten ändern.(Ihre Details). Prüfe gleichzeitig die Sprache um bei der Mailinglist zukünfig Mails in der richtigen Sprache zu erhalten.

Du musst dich auch hin und wieder auf der Site anmelden. Über den Zeitraum überlegen wir uns noch. Inaktive Anwender werden aber auch gelöscht bzw gesperrt.

Wenn du Spam oder was spamverdächtiges erhälst bitte sofort an Gerald oder over melden damit der jeweilige Anwender gesperrt werden kann.

So kommst du zu den PM's (persönliche Mitteilungen/Private Nachrichten):

Im Forum klickst du auf "Mein Profil". danach hast du etwas links unten "Private Nachrichten". Wähle "neue Nachricht" um deine Nachricht zu schreiben.

In Benutzermenü ist auch der Punkt "Private Nachrichten" vorhanden.
